7 Best lululemon Sports Bras (C-DD Cups)
I’ve been wearing lululemon sports bras for over 10 years now to hot yoga, running marathons, and multi-day backpacking trips. And honestly, there is one lululemon bra that I tend to grab for most light to mid-impact activities.
With that said, I have tried every lululemon sports bra on the market and am sharing my all time favorites that I wear weekly as well as which bras are better for specific activities and cups sizes.

How to Size a lululemon Sports Bra
Depending on my weight, I range from a 34D to 34DD and I have found I always wear a size 8 in lululemon bras.
If you have any lululemon tank tops, I would recommend buying the same size bra as you wear in their tanks.
High Impact vs Low Impact Sports Bra
Here is my recommendation for common activities:
Low Impact: Yoga, Walking, Hiking
Medium Impact: Lifting, Cycling, Power Yoga, Skiing
High Impact: Running, CrossFit, Mountain Biking
Best lululemon Sports Bra
You’ll find a versatile list of recommended sport bras that are meant for sweaty, high intensity workouts to weight lifting, pilates and then the most comfortable everyday wear bras. All specifically in mind for those of us with larger cup sizes.
1) lululemon Like a Cloud Bra
— Editor’s Top Choice —
TOP FEATURES
Light to Medium Impact
Best for C to DD cups
Most Comfortable Bra for All Day Wear
Perfect Molded cups
Sweat-wicking & Quick-Dry
REVIEW: It’s truly all in the name - Like a Cloud. This bra perfectly molds to your chest and feels so soft and smooth.
I grab this bra daily for yoga, weight training, hiking, and even everyday wear because of how comfortable it is.
Unlike most bras where you probably throw out the inserts, you’ll love this lightweight sewn-in padding. It perfectly molds to your chest, and while thin, it still is thick enough so no headlights are showing.
Even though I’m a 34DD, I prefer the B/C cup version in this bra since I have a smaller chest frame.
This bra also comes in a variety of cuts from a higher neckline, longer waistline, and standard bra length; as well as an option for B-C cups or D-DD+ cup sizes.
2) lululemon Energy Bra
TOP FEATURES
Medium to High Impact
Best for C to DD cups
Most Versatile Bra for multiple activities
Quick-dry and moisture-wicking
Cool to the Touch Luxtreme™ Fabric
REVIEW: If you want a bra that can do it all, the Energy Bra is typically my recommendation for an all-around sports bra.
I love the cute strappy back that doesn’t go too overboard where you get tangled trying to get the bra on and off.
When it comes to running or high-intensity workouts, this is my go-to bra since the Like a Cloud Bra isn’t as compressive and supportive as I’d like for high impact.
This bra does come in a standard length or longline version, but I find the longline always rides up on me so I stick to the standard length.
Additionally, the Energy bra has a high-impact version with thicker straps and an adjustable back clasp, but I still prefer the Medium Impact Bra in my typical lululemon size 8 since I don’t feel I need the extra support.
3) Ultralu Square-Neck - D/DD cup
TOP FEATURES
Best for sweaty, high impact workouts
Made for C to DD cups
Removable, light padding
Adjustable straps to dial in fit
REVIEW:
My favorite thing about this sports bra is how lightweight it is and still supportive. The straps are wide and can be adjusted. There is more fabric on this bra than the Energy Bra for those of us that don’t want to show off any cleavage.
I also really like the standard sports bra back so I’m not getting tangled in the straps. and I just unclasp the back to make taking it off so much easier when I’m sweaty.
I like this sports bra for running under an hour and cycling classes because the girls are staying in place and I can still breathe.
If you’re running marathons (or halfs), try the new Go Further Bra. It’s more lightweight and built to reduce chafing for longer workouts, but you do need to be a solid D/DD to fill the cups.
4) Run Times Bra
TOP FEATURES
High Impact
Ideal for Larger Chests (DD-G cups)
Very Supportive and Comfortable
Cool to the touch fabric
Hook & eye closure for more adjustment
REVIEW: If you have a larger chest and need a supportive bra for high-impact workouts that have you running or jumping, this is a must-try bra!
When I first tried this bra I wasn’t sure I’d like the standard straps, but I realized they are very comfortable and secure. Additionally, the straps can adjust to cross if you do need that extra security.
Similar to the Like a Cloud Bra, the cup padding feels molded to my chest and is the perfect thickness.
There is more structure to this bra as it’s intended for larger chests but not so much that you will notice it or feel uncomfortable. You can even wear this as an everyday bra!
5) Align™ V-Neck Bra Light Support
TOP FEATURES
Buttery soft, All-day comfort
Options for C/D cup and DDD/G Cup
Wide straps smooth out fattier back areas
Ideal for low impact workouts
REVIEW:
lululemon finally made a comfy, all-day wearing bra for larger breasts and the user reviews are phenomenal!
It’s made with the buttery soft Align material and has ability to wick (light) sweat.
This is the sports bra I’m wearing around the house, walking the dog, to reformer pilates, yin yoga, and under any oversized sweater.
This is the one bra I can about guarantee you will constantly look for a reason to wear.
The only con to this bra is the straps aren’t adjustable, but thankfully I don’t find I need to adjust them.
6) lululemon Align Tank
TOP FEATURES
Light Support
Best for C to DD cups
Buttery soft Nulu™ fabric
Built-in Shelf Bra with removable cups
Sweat-wicking
REVIEW: If you own the famous Align leggings, this Align Crop top is the perfect match.
This crop top has a built-in shelf bra and paired with the high-neck cut of this top, makes it more like a medium support/ impact top.
Unlike the bra version, I feel confident wearing this crop top without a top over it and choose this sports bra crop for long walks and hikes in the summer.
The V-neck cut is the more popular cut of the two, but having a larger chest I feel like the girls easily spill out so I stick with the high-neck. Also, if you’re in between sizes I recommend sizing up.
7) Wunder Train Racer Bra
TOP FEATURES
Light Support
Best for C and D cups
Slim Racerback allows full range of motion
Fastest-Drying, Everlux™ Fabric
Extremely comfortable for all-day wear
REVIEW: When you want a low-impact bra for hiking, weight lifting, or yoga that is comfortable for all-day wear, this is the bra.
Also, for any of you who love the Free to be Serene Bra, this might be your new favorite bra.
It’s a lightweight bra, but since it’s made from the Everlux fabric, it has a more compressive, secure fit than you may think.
This is a new style of bra from lululemon that is slowly making its way to my first choice for daily wear.
