25 Unique Gifts for RV Owners

Finding a gift for someone who loves the outdoors and RVing can be a bit tricky since there isn’t much space for useless things inside the RV itself.

Since we’ve been RVing full-time for 4 years now, I’ve been able to come up with a list of our favorite RV gifts we’ve received and ones we’ve purchased for other fellow RVers that have been a hit!

I’m sure you’ll find something below or at least spark an idea of what to gift the RV owner in your life.

Gifts for RV Owners

1) Wireless Weather Thermometers

RV owner gift ideas

The perfect gift for RVers or those who are always curious about the weather. This device gives the time, shows the weather indoors and outdoors along with the humidity.

A simple wireless sensor goes outside and connects to this main device by using wifi.

2) Pendleton Throw Blanket

gifts for rv owner

Pendleton blankets are very popular in the outdoorsy community. They are made of high-quality wool here in the USA and are known to last for generations.

If you want to gift something quality and cozy that will last a lifetime then go with a Pendleton blanket.

They also have multiple stunning tribal patterns to choose from and in sizes big enough to be a comforter.

3) USA National Parks Push Pin Map

RV owner gifts

A must have item in the RV world is a U.S. map with all the national parks to commemorate everywhere the RV has traveled.

It’s a fun way to remember all the places they’ve been and a great conversation starter at the campgrounds. It’s a perfect gift for new RV owners, kids or new retirees.

best gifts for RVers

The Luci compact 18’ string lights are popular amongst campers since they can be charged by the sun or by a USB charger.

They have a built-in 2000mAH lithium battery and last up to 20 hours on a single charge. Plus it weighs less than a pound and is waterproof!

5) Happy Camper Door Mat

RV owner gifts

One of my favorite purchases for our RV is this entry mat!

Not only is it super cute and makes people smile every time they walk in the door, but it is made of a looped PVC material that helps trap moisture and dirt from entering the RV.

6) Firewood Holder with Handles for Camping

gifts for RV owner

This oversized, heavy-duty canvas firewood holder is a must for RVers.

A successful camping trip includes having a campfire and it is recommended by all parks to use local wood for a campfire, which is where this perfectly made firewood holder comes in as the perfect gift.

It’s a serious game changer rather than having to bear hug as many logs and sticks as possible and hoping you haven’t snagged your favorite campfire sweater. (definitely speaking from experience)

7) Portable Fire Pit

rv owner gift

For those who love a campfire but don’t want to smell like one at the end of the night, this portable fire pit is incredible. It’s a lot quicker to setup and cleanup as well, while still providing a significant amount of heat.

Additionally, for those camping out West, chances are high they cannot have a real fire due to frequent fire bans, but these propane fires are allowed.

8) The Lost Art of Reading Nature's Signs

One of the best nature books on the market. It is such a unique and intriguing read that is near impossible to put down.

A review from Shelf Awareness says it perfectly- “While Gooley’s tips encompass useful, practical ways to predict a change in weather, determine when a predator may be prowling and find true North at night, his true gift is in igniting curiosity and wonder about the world around us.”

A truly thoughtful gift that any nature lover will appreciate.

9) BLUETTI Solar Generator 268Wh

solar generator RV owner gift

When camping off-grid or away from any electrical plugs this small, lightweight and completely cordless power station is every RV owners dream.

Bluetti is one of the best brands on the market, providing the highest quality lithium iron battery with 9 outlets to charge everything from a computer, mini-fridge, and even blow up inflatables.

It easily recharges from the car, a home outlet or portable solar panels.

10) America the Beautiful Pass

A thoughtful gift that doesn’t take up much space is the America the Beautiful Pass.

This pass is good for a year’s worth of visits to more than 2,000 federal recreation sites across the country, including all our U.S. national parks.

The pass covers entrance for a driver and all passengers in a personal vehicle. Make sure to sign up with the name of who you are gifting it to so they can be the cardholder and able to use it.

11) Harvest Hosts Subscription

Not sure exactly what to get and don’t want to chance getting the wrong thing? Every RV owner will be excited to get a year subscription to Harvest Hosts.

It is a fun way to explore the country by staying overnight for free at a winery, brewery, or even a farm.

We love staying at these places as a stopover to our next destination and we always get to learn something new, try out their products, and make new friends from fellow RVers or the hosts.

12) The Next Exit

rv owner gifts

Updated annually, this traveler's bible is the golden standard for finding services such as gas, food, and lodging at every USA Interstate Highway exit.

We love using this specifically because it will also tell us which stops are RV friendly stops.

It also comes in handy when we aren’t in good cell signal range so we can find what’s up ahead.

13) GCI Rocking Camp Chair

best RV owner gift

A great camping chair for the fire is extremely under-rated. I love this camping chair because it takes 2 secs to open and close and you don’t have to try shoving it into a rather too small bag to store away.

It’s extremely comfortable and even rocks. This GCI Rocker is a nice upgrade to any camping chair.

14) RV Camper Bottles Opener Magnet

RVs are small and there usually isn’t much extra room for gifts so if you are worried about size, then you can’t go wrong with this small, but useful RV camper magnet.

It doubles as a bottle opener and lid catcher so while not only perfect memorabilia it is also handy!

15) 30 Piece BBQ Grill Set

You may think every RV owner definitely has grill utensils, especially if they own a grill at home, but chances are they don’t actually like using their grill set from home or carrying it back and forth for RV trips.

This ready-made stainless-steel BBQ set and carry bag is perfect for RVers and campers.

It has every utensil one would need for the campfire or BBQ and for a very budget-friendly price.

16) Cast Iron Campfire Iron

This isn’t your normal pie iron. This larger cast iron skillet can fit two sandwiches in it and it breaks down to easily store in any pack.

It’s a great addition for the campfire when they want to cook over the fire, but don’t want to get out the heavy-duty cast iron pan or use the rusty grates attached to the fire pit.

17) Stanley Classic Legendary Thermos

RV gifts

You can’t go wrong with gifting a classic brand and a classic staple item. Stanley’s has been around since 1913 and their lifetime guarantee on products can’t be beaten.

We love our double-wall thermos for our coffee, wine, or beer to keep our drinks at the ideal temperature.

The collapsible handle is made for easy grab-and-go and the insulated lid doubles as a cup for drinking.

18) DAMA Inflatable Stand Up Paddle Board

Almost everyone who tries our SUP for the first time loves it and becomes addicted to getting out on the water with it.

It is really easy to learn how to use the SUP on calm water since the board is so wide and thick, and you don’t need to actually stand up to enjoy it.

I love that this one is a fraction of the cost of those at REI, but it still works amazing and hasn’t shown any signs of wear from using it all year.

Because it’s inflatable, it can pack down into the included backpack for easily transport to and from the water.

20) National Park Candles

gift for rvers

Find which is their favorite national park and get them this unique memory that will remind them for weeks to come.

These all-natural soy candles are handcrafted to impart the scents of the wild and pristine lands of America's National Parks.

Available in a half pint size with a 45 hour burn time. Made vegan, cruelty-free and in small batches in Seattle, WA with no petroleum, GMOs, lead or phthalates.

21) Subpar National Parks Poster

For the national park lover who also has a sense of humor, the Subar Parks Posters are a fun gift idea.

Find out some of their fave national parks and see what illustration Amber has created to go along with actual 1 star reviews people have left about national parks.

They will be sure to get a laugh out of this and it’s a great way to support a small business too.

22) LevelMate PRO

gift for rv

One of the best RV owner gifts is this LevelMate Pro.

Making sure the RV is level is a must and being able to just open an app from my phone to tell me if we are level or how off we are is one of the nicest upgrades we’ve added to our RV.

I open the app on my phone while we are pulling into our camp spot and it instantly tells me how level our rig is in inches for both side to side and front to back.

23) Noise Cancelling Headphones

unique gifts

There isn’t a lot of room in an RV and sound travels easily throughout those paper thin RV walls. I great gift they made not even know they want are noise cancelling headphones.

24) Deep Tissue Massage Gun

unique gifts for RVers

If the person you are buying a gift for is an avid hiker, biker, or outdoorsman then I highly recommend this massage gun.

The infamous TheraGun runs around $500 and this budget-friendly Amazon knock-off has far surpassed our expectations.

Unlike your typical massager, this lightweight massage gun targets deep tissue for better relief of sore, overworked muscles.

25) LED Dog Collar

A simple yet very usable gift for an RV owner who also has a dog is this LED dog collar.

Unlike in a house with a backyard, the dogs have a lot more room to roam around at night, and sometimes they can be hard to spot.

This simple little collar has made life much easier and everyone always asks where they can get one for their dog too.
